  1. Growing up, one of my best friends had 2 german shepherds. One went swimming with us all the time. The other one would only go in if he heard my friend screaming. I personally have a blue healer (australian cattle dog) that seems pretty smart though we did not have her until she was over 5.

    • Blue Healers are a great choice. Amazing colors and pretty sharp upstairs too.
